Small, Market Bouquet - THURS
Grown + picked at Wollam Gardens! The small summer bouquet is full of texture and will have ~dozen stems of blooms, foliage, and/or branches.
For late summer flowers, your bouquet may include: Solidago, Rudbeckia, Basil, Statice, Zinnias, marigolds, Dahlia, Grasses, greens, and textures!
The florist farmers (or should we say farmer florists?!) of Wollam Gardens will hand pick and design each bouquet. Your bouquet will arrive in wrapped in paper, ready for your vase.
Wollam Gardens is a magical place with fields of flowers in Virginia, about an hour from the Pickle Factory. While we love all flowers and foliage, there's something magical about being surrounded by Wollam Garden's fields of dahlias in the fall. When at market with Wollam Gardens, it's always welcome to have beautiful flowers to contrast the smells of the pickle stand :)
Tips for longer-lasting flowers: cut the stems before putting in a vase. Every few days, cut the stems again + change the water - don't skimp on your water level either! Local flowers mean that some types of foliage or flowers will wilt before others do - simply toss them when they're expired + rearrange in the same vase or smaller vessels. Some buds will bloom later!
At this time, we can't honor special requests for colors or flower types. We're asking farmers to send us the best flowers they have! This variety will likely change on a weekly basis.
