Marmalade Cream Cheese
Not wanting to waste the delicious Murray Family Farms oranges, lemons, grapefruits, and citrons that were too blemished to sell, we turned ugly-duckling citrus into gorgeous marmalade. We then topped our plain cream cheese with the jam so you could customize your eating experience. We’ll let the sunny flavor speak for itself.
Some water separation between the marmalade and cream cheese is normal.

In early 2019 Yi Wah approached Steph about starting a line of baked goods that would bring all of the values of Number 1 Sons — quality products, care for the local community, a sense of humor — to classic, homey breads and pastries. After much research, many test bakes, and a slight delay due to the pandemic, Steph came up with our ideal long-fermented bagel, featuring a just-right texture and pleasant wheat flavor from locally milled flour. She also makes specialty cream cheese spreads that are full of flavor, fluffy and whipped to spread on your bagel straight from the fridge. Keep your eyes out for more baked goods from Number 1 Sons Bakehouse in the near future.
