Turner Ham House has been operating for more than 50 years, using their secret family recipe and hand-curing process to make sugar-cured country ham. They sell their ham, as well as jams, jellies, and a large collection of Polish pottery, out of the country store that Garnett and Lena Turner built in 1949. 11 years later, they produced their first batch of sugar-cured ham, using a recipe inherited from Garnett’s grandfather, Webster Turner. Over the years, the business remained in the family and today is operated by Ron and Peggie Turner.
Ingredients: ham, sugar, brown sugar, curing salt.
